Quarterly Meeting Items
OHFC Quarterly Meeting, July 16, 2026
On On July 16, 2026, the OHFC held its quarterly meeting. There were about 15 members in attendance. Mr. Ott provided information about the current budget and funds, and Club President Phyllis discussed some issues that she is working on. Here are some topics that were discussed:
- Club T-shirts: OHFC T-shirts will soon be available. A vendor has been found and orders will soon be collected. The cost should be about $15.00 for a T-shirt and a few dollars more for a collared option. Once it's time to order, information will be posted on the OHFC website and Facebook page.
- Guest Instructors: Phyllis has been trying to get in contact with SID to get approval for outside instructors to offer classes at OHFC, but as SID has been busy with other issues, the issue is still pending. Hopefull this will be resolved soon so outside instructors can offer classes.
- Pickleball Lobster Remote: Mr Ott provided his findings on the availablity and cost for a remote. Members discussed the issue and voted on it, unanimously deciding not to purchase a remote at this time.
OHFC Quarterly Meeting, April 16, 2026
On On April 16, the OHFC held its quarterly meeting. There were about 20 members in attendance. A special thanks to Phyllis for providing snacks and water. Mr. Ott provided information about the current budget and funds. Here are some topics that were discussed:
- Outdoor Pickleball Courts: This issue is still being considered but a lot of work remains before this can happen. The issue was tabled until the September meeting.
- Club T-shirts: A proposal was put forth to design and sell club T-shirts, and several members expressed interest. This would raise additional funding for the club as well help advertise the OHFC. This is being explored and will be readdressed in the next meeting.
- OHFC Open House: SID has approved an open house event to allow members of the community to learn about the club, and planning is currently underway.
- Yoga: The club is planning to offer a Yoga class led by a local instructor. The class would be on Monday, Wednesday and Friday sometime after 3:00 PM. The cost would be $5 per class for OHFC members.
